About Me

Hello, my name is Laurie and I've been a big fan of Jane Austen's life and works since about the age of fifteen. My favorite of her novels is Northanger Abbey because I really enjoy it's comedy and sweetness and of course it's hero the ever witty Henry Tilney! I also love Persuasion it's such a tender story about the power and constancy of love. I've also recently started to adore her lesser known work Lady Susan and am quite excited to hear that it is being adapted for film as I've long thought it would make a wonderful movie.
I have watched as many Austen adaptations as I can get my hands on and have several personal favorites and hope with the airing of the new adaptations to gain some more.
